Sometimes Oliver acts like a cat - he will climb up on the long length of window sill and fall asleep, or he might curl up on top of the sofa and nap (see above). He also likes to jump from the arm of the couch to the arm of the chair, and then walk on the back of the chair behind me and sit.
Weirdo - but I love him.

maybe it's a shih tzu thing...my family's always called allie an ewok and also puppycat. I got her when I was 12 and she was tinier than the kittens in the pet shop, and she's always been so sporty and muscular, they are like little couch gymnasts! She also enjoys weird floppy naps on the tops of couch cushions and looks equally as awkward in overgrown/overgroomed haircuts. I wish she weren't in CA so we could like take them to the dog park together or something. They'd probably fall in love.

It might be - my mom's shih tzu does similar perching. I like your use of the phrase "floppy naps" - so right on! He needs a buddy - he gets so darn mad at big dogs, like he wants to fight, but that's just his way of demanding play time.
Prescrou - sounds like a Transylvanian count who wears a monocle and is a commentator for NPR or the BBC. Cool word.
